Resource-Efficient Decarbonisation Pathways
In a modelling exercise, the German Environment Agency further explored the nexus between climate policies and associated resource requirements. Six different quantitative scenarios for Germany describe potential alternative pathways to achieve a greenhouse gas neutral and resource-efficient economy by the year 2050.
At the conference, we will explore:
- The scenarios developed within the project “A Resource-Efficient and Greenhouse-Gas-Neutral Germany 2050” and resulting conclusions; and
- Implications of the study for the wider national, EU and international policy context.
You are invited to join us and about 150 national and international experts and decision-makers from policy making, industry, academia and civil society to discuss options and opportunities to advance on decarbonisation pathways.
